speaking of 2006 graduates, j. successfully defended his thesis this week, so raise a glass to him at your earliest convenience.
i have a couple of weeks left in my first semester of graduate school, so it's like he's passing the torch. best i can tell, graduate school is largely about producing massive amounts of work in insanely short amounts of time. is that about the size of it?
